Fans were electrified by a surprise performance from “Independence Day” star Will Smith at last weekend’s Coachella festival. According to reports, attendees were particularly excited about the unannounced appearances by major celebrities, including Will Smith, known for his role in “Bad Boys.”
People magazine detailed that Smith made a surprise entrance during J Balvin’s set, fully outfitted as his character Agent J from the film Men in Black. Emerging from beneath the stage in a classic black suit and sunglasses, he excitedly greeted the crowd with a shout of “Coachella!” before launching into a performance of his hit song “Men In Black.”
The highlight came when, in true Men in Black fashion, Smith used a ‘Neuralyzer’—the memory-wiping device from the movie—to playfully ‘erase’ the audience’s memory, adding a theatrical flair to his performance. His family, including Jada Pinkett-Smith and their children Jaden and Willow, were spotted in the audience, supporting him.
Following the excitement, J Balvin returned to the stage and energized the crowd with a vibrant rendition of “In Da Ghetto,” as reported by Variety.
